I installed the Kitaco CDI, and so far I am enjoying the resulting changes in performance. Jiangwayne.com has a great set of photo instructions for the Ruckus installation.

This CDI kit is plug and play, but the kit I bought (from someone in California that sold their Ruckus) did not come with all of the wires in the picture below. Maybe there is a difference in the North American and Japanese versions of the product? I am not sure. Jiang Wayne told me all his kits labeled “North American” include the wire.

Fortunately, I enjoy making wire harnesses. Here is what the connection looks like. I used two female blade connectors to link my wires to the blue connector.
